Veljko Stojanović is one of the three consultants in the “Balkan Migration” call center. He was born in Pirot and is currently studying at the Faculty of Electronics. Every day, he speaks with hundreds of clients, patiently and with understanding helping them find the path to a Bulgarian passport and a better life in Europe. Since childhood, he dreamed of being someone who helps others achieve their goals – a dream he now lives through his work with us.
Tell us something about yourself – where are you from, what are you studying/have studied, and what inspires you?
I am Veljko Stojanović from Pirot, and I am studying at the Faculty of Electronics.
What did you want to be as a child, and how does it connect to what you do today?
As a child, I wanted to help people achieve their goals in life. This job is connected to that because we help our clients live and work legally abroad.
What motivates you to wake up with a smile in the morning – a personal mission, loved ones, or something else?
I am motivated by my loved ones, of course, but also by the fact that today I will talk to clients and help them obtain a European passport.
Your path to the office
How did you come to our office, and what was your first impression?
I came to the office through an acquaintance, and from the very beginning, I liked the way we work, our mission, the atmosphere, and my colleagues.
What have you learned here – both as skills and as a person?
That it is very important to help other people and that colleagues are not just colleagues but also friends.
Do you have a moment when you felt proud to be part of this team?
Of course – when a client is satisfied, but also after every conversation when they see that there is a solution for obtaining a European passport. Also, because I have met very good people.
Working with clients and the meaning of the job
What does it mean to you to help someone through your work?
It means that the client gets exactly what they were looking for and what I have explained to them, and that tomorrow they can legally live in Europe to achieve their goals.
Share a situation that particularly touched you – maybe a client’s story that stayed in your heart.
When a client had no solution for obtaining a European passport and had to go abroad, we explained the procedure, and it immediately brought a smile back to their face.
In your opinion, what makes our office special?
Above all, because our team is good, good people work in it, and we are not only colleagues but also friends. And because we all share the same goal – to help our clients.
Personal perspective and growth
Where do you see yourself in 5 years – what are your wishes and dreams?
My wishes are, of course, that we are all alive and healthy, and later on, successful.
What would you like to work on in yourself – as a professional or as a person?
To have a little more patience.
What have you learned about teamwork since you became part of “Balkan Migration”?
That it is wonderful to work in an environment where you are surrounded by good people, where there is positive energy, and where during work hours we are colleagues, and later, friends.
